Well unfortunately I am back to work which means less time to blog! Things have been non-stop since August began. I had two masters classes back to back the first two weeks of August. Then I started back at school last week (my kids start back this week).
During this time we tried to get in some last minute family fun. We have taken the kids on some more hiking/cook out trips. We have been to North Shore (a waterpark). Cherry Hill, where we saw Kristy and Michael! Miniture golfing and car shows! Needless to say your memory goes when your pregnant so I did not remember to take the camera to any of these places.
We were also forced to do the non-fun-getting-ready for school activities which included clothes shopping (which all my kids detest), hair cuts, school supply shopping, and back to school night (Erin did enjoy this). She is extremely excited about starting school this year.
We (I) also did some "non-fun" things. Unfortunately we had a couple of scares with this pregnancy. Between problems with placenta previa and threats of blood clots in the lungs I spent several hours in the hospital this week having blood drawn, ultra-sounds, x-rays, and CT scans. Thankfully everything has turned out o.k. and the baby and I are healthy as can be.
Now we just have to take a deep breath and prepare ourselves for school to start on Monday :) I just hope things calm down a bit (However I have a feeling they might not.... Ha!)

Congratulations on the pregnancy! I hope things settle down for your soon!
Oh my goodness! I didn't know you were having some scares! Placenta previa? Has it straightened out? Tell me more! How is school going? I'm thinking I may want to start teaching again. Well, "want" isn't the right word for it. "Need" is more of the word for it. I'm tired of being too poor to buy groceries. So I'm looking into it, for sure. Sigh.
Sorry to hear about the scares! Hope everything has settled down. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and take it easy!
