We had a big family BBQ to celebrate her return. Everyone was there including her 4 kids, 3 kid-in-laws, and 9 grandchildren (soon to be 11!)
We enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs, fruit, veggies, ice cream, chips, and more! Needless to say no one went home hungry.
We got out the slip-and-slide to help burn off some of those calories that we put on with all of that delicious food.
And some even did a few laps around the pool! (ha)
Did I mention we had chips....
... and yet some more chips!
We all had a great time, especially mom! It's good to have her home :)

So glad to hear that your mother is finally home!! What a fun way to celebrate and how special to have everyone there for the big welcome home party. Recovery is so much better at home...better food and company!
I'm glad she's back. Barbecues in the summertime - what is more fun than that? How cool that you had a party in honor of her return.
Welcome home Aunt Valeria! Now that you have all your little helpers there to aid in your recovery, I hope it is a speedy one.
