Look Ma No Teeth!

Erin, Austin, and Ivy got to enjoy a trip to the dentist last week. "Enjoy" might not be the right word for Erin though! My kids usually do enjoy the 2 hour trip to Provo to visit Uncle Donald (AKA: The Dentist).

The trip usually starts with lunch at McDonald's, a movie in the van, touring Uncle Donald's office to see his new "trophies" (he is a hunter), and then picking out a new t-shirt or other awesome prize after they have had their teeth cleaned (or painted as Ivy calls it). However, this trip was not so fun for Erin. She had to have 3 teeth pulled. She and Austin have inherited someones big teeth and are having problems with their permanent teeth coming in. So Uncle Donald has to pull the baby teeth so that the new teeth will come in where they are supposed to. NOT FUN.

So with the tooth Erin lost just days before... She is now missing 4 teeth! Luckily she was a good sport about the whole thing!

Math Coach

So, as I mentioned in an earlier post, I have a new job :). I was hired on with Weber School District to be one of their Math Coaches. "What is a Math Coach?" you say. Hmmmm.... I am not quite sure... (similar to a Reading Coach and Instructional Coach.)

I do know that I will be over 3 schools and I will be teaching teachers new math concepts and ideas. I will also be doing evaluations and observations. I am pretty excited (and nervous) to start!
